Application of Sanitary Valve in Drinking Water Equipment

How can sanitary valves be used in drinking water projects?
The cock valve is a kind of rotary valve with closing parts or plunger shape. By rotating 90 degrees, the opening on the plug and the opening on the valve body are identical or separated, so as to open or close the valve. The shape of the plug of the cock valve can be cylindrical or conical. In a cylindrical plug, the passage is usually rectangular; in a conical plug, the passage is trapezoidal. These shapes make the structure of the cock valve lighter, but at the same time, they also cause some losses.

Cock valves are suitable for cutting off and connecting media and diversion, and sometimes for throttling.

Because the movement between the sealing surfaces of the cock valve has wiping effect, and the contact with the flowing medium can be completely prevented when the sanitary check valve is fully opened, it can also be used in the medium with suspended particles.

Another important feature of the cock valve is that it is easy to adapt to multi-channel structure, so that a valve can obtain two, three, or even four different runners such as 3-way ball valve. This can simplify the design of the pipeline system, reduce the use of valves and some of the connecting parts needed in the equipment.
